Stake or prune this jade?

Crenda 10A SW FL

I had a 12-inch pot with 8 jade plants in it. After being neglected all summer, I noticed that they were starting to lean over due to overcrowding. So I separate them and repotted in a nice gritty mix of turface, perlite and bark. They look so much better!

This one, however, has a small stem that immediately branches. (there are 2 plants in this pot) You can see it is top heavy on both sides. Should I stake these 2 branches up until the stem is stronger, or prune them and start new plants? Each side is branching, as well. This is a 6-inch pot.

I will probably be able to keep them outside in the sun all winter. Maybe they'll come in for a few days with a really cold spell, but those are few here.

Thanks!
