Does this NOID look like a stapelia? Any tips on its care? Thanks

My best guess after googling is that this is Stapelia (Maybe Stapelia scitula?) but I'm not good at IDing cacti and succs. Does anyone out there recognize this?
Thanks in advance if anyone has any information on what this is or any special tips on how to take care of it.

Definitely a stapelia of some sort. You won't know which one exactly until it flowers. I'm in the same boat and I have 4! Almost got a flower on one this summer, but the bud dried up before it opened. :(

I am wondering if these are multiple cuttings or one branched cutting. Either way , I would be tempted to give it some more pot. The mediym looks like it might need some sharp sand or perlite added. The sand looks small. I would be tempted to bive it some more space for it to fill in on top. Stapeliads will form a clump of shoots so one needs to give it some space for the clump to grow at first. One can let the clump drape later once it is happy.

Mine flower this time of the year, I have a purple hairy one in flower right now, it really smells, and the flies love it. I also have a large starfish type 14" flowers. Watch the watering, it likes it dry. Remove all previous years growth, start the new leaves only if you want flowers in the future. I live in So. CA so normally it is not freezing cold here, were are expected soon 20F in the next 10 ten days, this is early, the last temps got that low was 3 years ago. I have a feeling that we are going to have a very cold winter in Jan. and Feb.
