Agave ID

Got this from a board member back in the summer. very very nice plant and really healthy but he did not member the name on it. Can anyone give me an ID on it..even if its a toss up between a few it would help. thanks

no idea on the rest of it..truncata maybe? looks a little dark for that. thanks for the help

parryi, yes. It does not look like truncata to me. Harder to tell them apart when they are small. When more mature the difference becomes apparent. The color will be greatly affected by climate and sun exposure so discount for that.

Probably a young A. parryi v. huachucensis. Part of the problem IDing is your climate. I'm used to seeing these plants here; they look different when they aren't getting roasted by 100F temps every day.
