Well, there could be something there it's hard to tell with such a difficult picture to interpret. That said, whatever it is it certainly needs a throwing a life jacket real soon as that mix is drowning it and it won't last long I fear!! Mixes for C&S's need to be gritty and fast draining, anything with too much peat and/or one that is overwatered like that is not good. The water rots the roots and drives out oxygen. I suggest you search on here for the gritty mix recommended by Al, and either use it or amend it slightly with whatever ingredients you can find in your area....but it really needs to come out of that asap if it hasn't suffered rot already..... so good luck.
