Nice flower! Mine hasn't bloomed for a while, but when it does, I really appreciate it for all its beauty.

I hope you didn't trash the whole plant. You could have cut the flower off only.

No Stush! I would never throw out the whole plant! It's perfectly healthy, I just moved it to another room because I couldn't stomach the stench in my living room! But the flower will have to go soon if the smell gets any stronger! ;P

LOL! I was thinking like you Stush and it hit me that she meant throw the flower in the leaf pile and not the whole plant.

My nose doesn't work or mine doesn't smell. I do have different kind than Kaykay. I heard they smell the worse the first day and then reduce smell. Also mine were out side. I also noticed I got no flys around mine. So no seeds to share. With seeds, unlike cuttings, you never know what you will get. But if you like some one's, with a cutting, you will know what you will get.

That is a pretty one. I head they smelled really bad so when mine bloomed I put my nose in it to see if it smelled. It did not it was the yellow one.

Then the red one bloomed. I could smell the stink from very far away. I did not need to get close and the flies were hanging on for dear life. When I moved the plant so I could get a pic they did not move.

Luckily it bloomed outside. We are getting down into the 30s at night and it is time to bring the plants in and I noticed a bloom on the red one again. Well there is no way I was going to bring that inside. I cut the flower off.

This is my dark red stinky one.
