My agave has the measles!

Crenda 10A SW FL

In the past week, my Agave desmettiana 'Variegata' has gotten spots. I have 6 of them, and all are showing the same spots. The summer monsoon stopped about a week ago. These are planted at the top of a built up island, so puddling water should not be a problem. The island drains quite well. But 13+ inches of water last month may be a problem.

I don't know what is eating them, or infecting them. We do have some tiny snails and I can put out some more bait, but this looks different to me. The spots seem to be starting on the top of the leaves and progressing through to the other side. I cannot rub anything off.

Any ideas? How should I treat it? This plant is showing the biggest infection.
