It's hard to tell from your underexposed sideways picture, Echeveria and some other succulents develop this glaucous material, naturally. If touched you will leave a permanent mark on the plant. I believe your plant is E. 'Lucita'. I don't think the "bloom" (glaucous covering) is spreading. The older leaves have lost their bloom. It is natural for the plant to lose lower leaves. The fact you still have so many is wonderful! You must be doing something right! =) I'm guessing you carefully water this pot-indoors-that seems without drainage holes.

Try not to touch the leaves. :)

What other plants do you think this covering has spread to? Can we see a pic of them?
