Not sure where you live... looks like Oregon. Also not certain but the Aloe in your picture looks like it might be a Kelly Griffin hybrid. To my untrained eye, many of his hybrids "look" similar. These are available in many locations. I have these three that are "extras"; not sure which one it is. Send me an email with your return email.

It looks very similar to Christmas Carol, but, as Howard said, many of them look alike. Beautiful plant! Mine pups like crazy.

Yes, it was marked Christmas something, so you're probably right. I don't know how you could tell, cuz I can't tell it apart from Howard's.

As Laura has said, many hybrids look similar. These are all different Aloe hybrids except the one back left.

Howard, is that E. runyonii in your 1st shot? It is a much more yellow-green color than my dusty blue E. runyonii. Is that caused by growing conditions, or are there multiple variations of the plant (or maybe it's just the lighting).

Yes, that is E. runyonii 'Topsy Turvy'. It looks like this because I grow them in full sun which tends to bleach the color on some Echeveria. They should have more of a glaucous color.

Interesting. I wouldn't have expected more sunshine to fade a succulent. I see many succulents darken in response to intense sun (like some aeoniums going almost black). Maybe lighter color absorbs less heat. I'm trying to learn more about physiology. You've given me more to research. Thanks!

What you have said is very true. Most of my Dick Wright hybrids get intense color over the summer and it increases as the cooler fall temperatures approach and I restrict the water. This one seems to bleach out.
