Go to eBay. Type periskiopsis in the search box. Make sure the category is "home and garden". You'll get many listings for plants and cuttings. When buying ANYTHING on eBay be sure to check the sellers FEEDBACK. If it is 100% you can feel safe buying from them. If it is below 98% DO NOT BUY from them. There is at least on plant seller I know for sure sells periskiopsis all the time "exotic_cactus_collection". They are in Florida.Good luck

I once tried to grow a Pereskiopsis as an ornamental plant, but it grew too tall and lanky. I is also popular among false spider mites ...

I know at least one grower who has got flower on his Pereskiopsis, so there are a few people who share your view on them.

The last time I heard that phrase(tall and lanky), they were speaking of me - I didn't know that I resembled a primitive cactus.

cactusmcharris: Maybe you do, or I just used the wrong adjectives :-).
Cacti that grow into small trees or bushes in the wild grow poorly for me, so I try to stay away from them.

I'm with cactumcharris, Quiabentias are cool.

TJ my neighbor grows hers out side in open run with
Southern exposure, we have sandy loan here. It flowers like crazy, starts from cuttings, I must mention we are in zone 9-10 depending on the year. It's very interesting and very primitive cactus. I use it in the classroom for programs. Norma

I imagine both Quiabentias and Pereskiopsiseseses need fairly frequent pruning to look good, though.

They're also both opuntioids, so... glochids. Yey.
