Cool nights and less water in the short days might help, but decreasing water at a random time will not likely improve bloom. I can't speak to the Hoya since I only have one, but most of the rest of the species you mention like nights about 60F, and some of the ones here get nights well below that in the winter.

You don't mention your watering nor the fertilizer you give them. That affects blooms. Sometimes you just happen on plants that do well with the care you give them. These are the ones you should collect. If your epis give you some bloom, then a tweak might be all you need. If the plants only give one or two blooms, then a major overhaul might be needed. So hard to give advice with no photos and 4 lines of words.
