Can anyone suggest any tough varieties of Sempervivum

Coming off my post from a couple of weeks ago about grubs eating the roots/stems:

I've spent the day cleaning the plants and salvaging any semps that could be rerooted. I also repotted in a mixture with higher ratios of perlite. However I have a lot of hanging vertical frames that I don't think will work with a mostly perlite mix (I just imagine all the perlite washing and falling off once they're rooted and hung on the wall!!!) So question is are there any really tough sempervivums out there that grubs won't touch. I have this unnamed species throughout my wall hangings that the grubs don't seem to touch. I'm thinking it's a species but not sure. They're really resilient and tough. I'd like to know if there's varieties as tough for wall hangings?
