Aloe Vera (Growing with Lamp?)

Hello. I have a question about growing Aloe Vera. my house has a lot of trees around it so my plants get hardly any sunshine. Could i use a regular lamp for my Aloe vera plants? or what would you suggest to get my plants to grow better?
