Trimmed pachypodium lamerei doesn't show any signs of growing

Hello!
I trimmed my pachypodium lamerei last month hoping to get it to split, but it doesn't show any signs of growing. The winter is coming soon but it still gets a lot of sun (about 10 hours a day, average temperature of 26c ). Can you tell if it looks good? the surface of the trunk is quite stiff.
