I don't know what causes the pitting...
but can you take a pic of the whole plant, the pot, the potting mix, and the light exposure?

How long ago was it re-potted? And, most importantly, what is the current potting mix?

It looks to me that it could be uprighted, and staked. At that height, I think you'd need rather large stones to support it, so I'd use a temporary stake - set toward the edge of the pot. I think the pot is a fine size, if using the right mix, and provided that the pot itself has drainage - not sitting in water in a drip-tray.

Unless there is rot in the roots or trunks, it is unlikely that you'll lose this plant - and there's plenty of thick, healthy tissue there for propagation. I wouldn't prune much more right now - wait until the plant is stabilized, and leave enough leaves to conduct photosynthesis. And, if at all possible, move it to the best window in the house, as close as you can. Then, next Summer, begin pruning it back into shape - some hard whacking, and some judicious pruning.

The jade was planted in old potting soil mixed with nutrient filler. Is there an additive I should use to help it gain strength?

Old potting mix? And nutrient filler? (What is nutrient filler?). Perhaps that's what damaged the leaves.

I'd discard that old mix and get something porous and gritty - coarse Perlite, and lots of it, would be a start. Pumice, if you can find it. With a 50 year-old Jade, I'd make a custom quality mix.
