Can't seem to get a definite ID...

Hi-

I just cannot seem to ID this bad boy with any degree of certainty. It stands about 9 inches tall...and some of those spines are between 1-2 inches long!

So, what the heck is this?

Sorry, Jeffrey...please don't think me ungrateful! ;-)

I am very happy that I now have the suspected Genus, but would also be much obliged for the species as well.

A baby Stenocereus griseus, perhaps?

I would never do so. It could be as you say. Needless to say, perhaps, but it hasn't flowered yet? Have you repotted it in the last year or so?

I believe I repotted it last spring...why do you ask that? No flowers yet, though. I have had it for about 5 years now.
