That's what it is, Pug, and it will be happy and shortly do some growing in its new home. Have you tried growing it in the ground? It becomes a mass o' plant, so be careful.

Mine must be rootbound beyond belief...since it is in a two-inch pot, the pot in which it was rooted a few years ago! This Summer, I pruned off the longest stem to prevent the tiny pot from tipping over.

I have mine PIG sharing space with Graptosedum California Sunset. Good to hear that they will spread because they are on a rather naked hill at the moment.

Jeff, That's a great idea...maybe I'll plant a couple of cuttings in the ground close to my wall...Succulents andJades just don't grow very fast out here in Humid FL...nothing like it does in CA...so I'm sure I won't have the problem of it getting too big (unfortunately) :o)

I do have Portulacaria Afra that I planted in the ground a couple of years ago and its taken off like crazy! I've pruned it at least 2 or 3 times since...If only my other Jades did this well.

Josh, I think I see a repotting in the very near future :o)

Crenda, missed your post, we were typing about the same time :o) Very Nice!! Your biggest obstacle would be the large amount of rain you get in the summer...maybe you can cover then in plastic during one of those monsoon rains we're know to get occasionally...Good luck!

I just remembered I have this other type of Sedum (name escapes me) planted in the ground with a couple of Jade cuttings...so far so good! I'll plant the yellow sedum next to them...

Surprisingly, these guys handled the rain this past year when I was gone all summer. They are on a slope out front on one of those elevated islands that has good drainage. Actually, my entire property slopes down and away. Good for plants, but bad for me working there and not rolling into the street or the lake! (Yes - I'm a rather unbalanced individual!)
