I am in Central Texas where we just had a freeze into the upper 20's - 30. I brought mine in but I am taking it back out today. DG and San Marcus rate the hardiness at 30-32F . I am one of those that carry plants in and out. I won't have another freeze for a couple of weeks maybe. This freeze was early. We might be in for a cold winter. Your growth is small but it is there , YEA.

As for removing a growth, I wouldn't at this point, But I guess it would depend on how you would like it to look if you want it to grow tall on a stake and then do its branching above.. There is always later. I am careful of fresh cuts on succulents in winter months. This is a tough plant.

Okay thanks :) First time and def. do not want to loose this! It is not only beautiful but I can't wait for those awesome fruits ;D. As far as look , I am not overly concerned . I would like to have it lifted on poles , but ehh I am fine with whatever. I wasn't sure if the cold would kill off the new tiny growths or not and wanted to be sure. I'll keep an eye on the temps , but everythig seems to be around 35 at i's coldest.! Thanks again for the info , if it gets too cold I'll def. bring it inside , at least this year..
