You are really not kidding! Look at that, two different plants for the price of one!

Those are beautiful Karyn, and I can not decide if I like the pink or the red. Heck, I love the colors on both:-)

Same with my plant - red flowers are 'leftovers' from being outside, light pink are new, since plant has been brought in. It is in best sun I can provide - unobstructed south-facing windows. Still not enough...
But I still like them.

This COT is getting too tall, there are 3 stems, tallest one is 48" from the soil to top of the flowers. I would like to shorten it up, but not sure about cutting it. And it flowers non stop.

This one's color difference is entirely due to temp & exposure. The pics from the first flush were outside during the summer. They opened red and remained red. The next flush was also outside and once again red but this last flush of blooms developed while the plant was in the GH and temps had cooled. They opened and remain pink with very little fading as they age.

I bought a COT many years ago during the "winter" here and I purchased it specifically b/c the flowers were a hideous mottled brownish green color and I thought it was very unique looking. Spring came along and the flowers went back to being bright magenta. Poor thing gets ugly when it is cold and looks pretty when warm.
