Aloe ID Challenge (photo)

I know that this may be a long shot, but can anyone ID this aloe? I received this aloe as a gift last year as a seedling. It is definately not Aloe Maculata (I have that one too) and the spines on this one are brown and hard, as opposed to the pliable spines of A. Maculata. This aloe is also smaller and more compact. As you can see, the spots form almost perfect stripes. Also, it has not bloomed for me yet. Maybe it will bloom this year. I thought it might be Aloe branddraaiensis, but again, it's just a thought.

It looks very much like my Aloe grandidentata (which at an earlier stage was ID'd by one as a branddraaiensis). Blooms will definitely help with its ID. :D
