Cactus ID?: Snowy-White Spines

Several years ago, I had a number of small flats of quite an array of cactus seedlings on a shelf in my outdoor "nursery." Our friends the squirrels decided to have a party on that shelf one fine day, with the result that everything was thrown into disarray, some of the flats even being shoved into the ground with the seedlings scattered. I was able to put things back together fairly well with the exception of finding the label for the seedlings from which three cacti grew, of which a picture of one--now about five years old--accompanies this message. The body is a rich emerald green, with the spines a beautiful snowy white. The original stem goes off beyond the picture another inch or so in the upper left; what you see featured in the picture are newer growths from the base. You can judge the size of the plant by the fact that it's potted in a 4-inch container. No blossoms from any of the seedlings yet. Can anyone tell me the name of this handsome cactus?
