Haemanthus Albiflos Babies?

Are these little eggs on the former flowers pups? The plant has lived here for a few years, mostly ignored, but I never noticed these before. Linda

Those are ripening seed pods, yes. Congrats.

The seeds will turn red when ripe. Once you clean off the red seed coat the seeds are almost a translucent white and look kind of like eggs. Plant the seeds immediately as they don't store well.

RE: Haemanthus Albiflos Babies?

Thank you for the info. I looked up the propogation online and it says they take a long time to turn red and to germinate. Hope we get lucky with some new ones. I'll try to keep an eye on them. Thank you, Linda
