Succulents In-Ground for Summer (pics)

Good evening!

Here are some images from this summer's in-ground growing experiment. I had room in the garden, so I thought I'd try a few succulents, and a few cuttings. I put an Aloe nobilis into a bottom-less pot to protect the roots...and it was knocked over by raccoons anyway. I straightened it out, and it recovered nicely. I also stuck two Jade cuttings and a Portulacaria afra cutting around the outside of the Aloe.

Next year, I plan on putting many plants in-ground to help size them up, which is something that Caudex and several others do with great success in raised beds, et cetera. Free-range roots are the key. I hardly had to water, either.

On with the pics. This should give an idea of how easy it is.
