Year-end last hurrah 1: Yellow striped zebra!

I know I'm a liar for saying it's my last plant every time... but anyway there were a few species that I really wanted to collect but can't find them anywhere so I turned to the internet. Found a few really cool sellers with nice plants that I don't see at nurseries.

ANYWAYS, here's the first one: Haworthia attenuata variegata! My first variegated plant since variegated string of buttons I got back in June!

This is the seller's photo (looks better than mine..)

Received and repotted, some leaves started to dry out due to transportation, but it's been with me for 2 weeks, looking healthy so far.

Really love how the variegation is on this plant, I like how with these sellers you get exactly the plant that's on the picture, no bad surprises, plus shipping is quite reasonable too.

The only thing I'm kind of bummed about is the red-tint on it will probably slowly disappear due to the lack of light, as we step into another lengthy Canadian winter...

I was referring to the yellow in the leaves...I just realize that title of your post says Yellow striped...duh, I wasn't paying attention.

Here is photo of one I have (hope you don't mind me posting on your thread). It was tiny pup growing off all green when I bought it in Feb. 2012, and have grown quite well since. It is growing pup of its own now.
Btw, I am really not sure if it is same var. since mine was ID-ed as Haworthia subattenuata variegata.
But I wonder, since I don't see much yellow on mine? (Maybe just growing conditions?)

And the year-end is far yet, you could still get few more.

Looks like white & yellow variegation, am I right?
I have one that seems to be just white, like the yellow there.

That's is a super plant, David and looks very handsome..Very nicely potted too..do you buy across the border or in Canada?

@rina Thanks! haha not really... need to save up more $$ to do so :P (maybe buy less plants..?) I think it's just yellow variegation but I'm not an expert on that. Are you referring to the white spots/bumps on the leaves? I think that's how H. attenuata naturally looks with the patterns like that.

@saj thanks! Haha I'm getting a hang of repotting now, I remember the first time I did it (just earlier this year) it was a disaster xD.. as mentioned above I got these from online (eBay to be specific) from a French seller, there's also a few other ones in Germany and Italy, cool collections and affordable prices as long as you're not getting a huge number of plants.

Cool! I didn't know there were white variegations actually, that pup is super pretty! Yeah yours seem to be a bit different, the bands on the leaves are thicker and more obvious than mine

How easy (or not) is it to get plants from Europe?

This plant is unfortunately suffering as I mentioned in another thread, it was attacked by mealies before it was shipped out and just got worse because I didn't realize until the leaves are falling out already. It is still fighting and the seller said that it will grow new heads if the time is right.
Buying from Europe is not bad at all, I find the shipping to be reasonable if you combined ship 2-3 plants especially. Plants usually arrive within 2 weeks to Canada.
