They look like extra-leggy A. weberi, though since you're in Florida, they may be A. neglecta.

Thanks for the reply! They were basically being grown in full to 75% shade which would probably explain the leggy-ness wouldn't it? Do you think throwing them into full sun will tighten them up a bit after they get over the initial light shock ?

75% shade sounds like a lot of shade for an Agave. They are full-sun plants, but I wouldn't recommend just "throwing them" into full-sun. I don't know your zone (where you live) and I realize that right now winter sun isn't as intense as the rest of the year, but I'd gradually move them into more sunlight. Don't want to cause some sort of sunburn and scar your plants. It takes Agaves some time to grow out of "uglies."

Move them into the sun this winter. If they're potted as shown, plant them now, if not, wait until it's warm enough to grow some new roots before moving them. They may burn a little, but that's OK, new leaves will be tougher, and by doing this in winter, you're giving them a chance to adapt to weak winter sun before the really hot stuff comes your way. Be sure to give 'em some room, A. weberi and A. neglecta can reach 10' across.

I'm in zone 9b. They're getting morning and afternoon sun right now during the winter, shaded for a bit for the brightest part of the day. I think this will slowly acclimate them into the light as summer rolls back around. Do you think the new leaves will be thicker due to the sunlight? I appreciate the responses!

Yes, new leaves will be thicker. I wouldn't worry about a little burn right now. These guys grow really fast once they're happy, and the leaves you're looking at now should be gone in a year anyways. Whatever you do, don't expose them to more sun in summer than you are now. This is the right time to adapt them to what's coming.
