I was poking around at my local Marshall's and found these 2 ceramic snail candles on sale for 2$ each.

Always on the lookout for interesting pots, my intentions were to drill holes in the bottom because it's not all that thick at the bottom due to the molding process in the manufacturing.

I got them home, lit up, and a few hours later, poured out melted wax & was able to scoop out remaining softened wax.

It turns out I can use them as is for display as cache pots for my tiny succulents. The opening for the candle is 2.5" and fits the wee terracotta pots I bought for cuttings and such. Thought I'd share =) going back today to see if there are any more cute things I can use this way.
