Does it have teeth on the underside of the leaves?

Jeff, I don't think so, but will ask (not my plant)

looks a bit like a young Aloe africana⦠which is a tree aloe.. if it starts to form a stem, maybe that is what it is.

I was going to say the species that Geoff did, B, so that makes me not totally despair about the loss of my Aloe ID abilities.

The plant's owner just told me that it DOES have teeth on the undersides of the leaves , 3-4 rows (including edges), with 'other teeth scattered about" . Does that change anything?

I think it makes it more likely / most likely that it's A. africana.
