Thanks for the link, I read it just now and went to look at mine to see if I could "tell" if I should move it to a cooler room where we don't use fluorescent lights for a few hours after dark. I think I see about 10 tiny flower buds starting to form. Here's a tip with 2.

Good for you!!! Can't wait to see the whole plant in bloom. Did you summer yours outdoors? I didn't and I think that might be the trick. At least, it is with some of my other winter bloomers.

I didn't have any luck last year on blooming. So I moved mine to a cool/dark area just last week. Fingers are crossed.

I'm pretty excited, my neighbor gave me this plant in June. Yes, it was outside until about a month ago, when it was certain there was going to be a frost. It had an illustrious career this summer, moving to different spots around the porch, until I settled on a tree branch in the front yard. That allowed it to get dappled light with just a few direct rays late in the afternoon. The other spots were either total shade or too much direct sun for long periods. I figure an epiphyte wants dappled light, so I did the best I could in that direction.
