Care For Abromeitiella Brevifolia

I recently purchase a small Abromeitiella Brevifolia but I have no idea how to care for it. Does anyone have any knowledge about this or maybe some websites I can visit? I've done a web search, but with no luck...thanks to all.

Easy bromeliad - indirect/shaded/filtered sun (can stand some direct), warm copiously when it's warm, and feed it during the spring/summer/fall, or not, with diluted general-purpose fertilizer.

And in a few years, if the creek don't rise, your plant will look like the one in the link.

Here is a link that might be useful: Cushioned Brom

Public Pedantry

'Warm copiously' didn't ask about a pie, did you? I thought not.

That should have been 'water copiously'.

And for an extra bit of pedantry, it's properly written 'Abromeitiella brevifolia' - the genus is capitalized but the species is in lower-case.

Other than that, I learned this plant as Deuterocohnia.

A spectacular specimen presented in my society's annual show. The mound is easily 18" tall, and maybe 2' in diameter. the entire plant emanates from a 4" standard pot! During growth, he keeps the small pot in a pie pan filled with water. The grower says it took maybe 15 years to grow this mound...

Now that's the picture I was looking for - like the cap of a very large and somewhat green mushroom. TFS!
