| Anybody have any nice Gasteria batesiana? Seems like a cool plant.
Is this below Gasteria batesiana Barberton or 'Black Beauty' (the same thing right?)

| One gorgeous plant. I know I'd snatch it if I were to see it for sale! Love that texture, plus the hues. |

| If this is the old variety called 'Barberton', I will stop looking for that variety. Anybody know? I think it is cool. I think the color depends on the light. It is supposed to look almost blackish at times, and reddish when stressed by drought or cold. Other regional varieties have white taste buds.

| I have at least four of these beauty's. All very black, ex Steven Hammer, I am growing them in low lite out side in cold weather. down to 30f. I have had them 6 years. I plan to divide mine this spring. It really dosn't looke like batesina, which does turn red under stress but not all clones. Norma |
