No I don't think so. Maybe among collectors. Aloe Vera is pretty common.

I got mine at Lowe's for very little, so it is not rare. It is easy to grow. I guess it is not as common as Aloe vera the great ubiquitous aloe. But that is bit saying much,

Your photo shows Aloe 'Pepe', not Aloe haworthioides.

Yes, A. haworthioides x A. descoingsii are the parents of 'Pepe'. (mentioned parent in Teen's other post-linked below)

Aloe 'Pepe' is smaller (shorter, more flat than tall) like its descoingsii parent.

Thank u rose I was skeptical at first that it is pepe but after further reaserch my plant doesn't look exactly like haworthiodes and is in fact pepe.
