Was there a sign on that plant that said Euphorbia ingens? Cause that's a Euphorbia cooperi as far as I can tell.

Lzrddr Hello! Yes there is a sign but I cant read it as it's too blurred when zoomed in! I admit to knowing diddly-squat about this type of plant. I named it based on the fact that my s-in-laws mum said the plants pictured below were Nabooms (Euporbia ingens), she is a native S African, from would you believe it, Naboomspruit!! Here are a couple of pics that she told me were the Naboom. Maybe I assumed the plant I showed above was the same plant? I've just googled E. cooperi and I think you ay well be correct! My rellie may well be one of the non-planty people it seems, but she was half right surely?!!!

Now your talking. MOre photos!! It would be torture to travel in South Africa with non plant lovers. I would run away. A girlfriend of mine has a B&b next door to the Harold porter National Botanical Gardens and is always trying to get me down there but I know she wants to put me to work redoing all the woodwork. Another form of torture.
