While I've not grown this particular plant, if it is a summer-grower (which I suspect but am not sure of) it shouldn't be given more than a sip a month while it's dormant for the winter. You might begin to see new leaves start emerging in February/March/April, which is an indicator to start watering it regularly again.

Thank you, Mike. That's what I thought too.

looks just like mine, which always looks like that this time of year... mine is not soft and squishy, though... feels like wood, though not as hard as rock. I always think mine is dead, and then in May out pops a little branch and by June it's back to normal... don't give up on it yet unless is really mushy.
