I don't know if I've been too much help since I'm also a newbie, but I have ventured some suggestions based on my limited experience.

I have also been seeking advice and help with a lot of IDs and also wanted to express my thanks to all those who have contributed to my increased knowledge.

I think the recent changes to GW have really affected the forum as there are a lot of questions floating around about whether to stay or go, as well as a general dissatisfaction with the "new" GW. I hope that this community will maintain its strength, as I believe that there is a wealth of information that is being shared here that supports the cultivation of cacti and succulents around the world.

being the recipient of many id's, much advice and goodwill, i cannot pass the opportunity to add my thanks.
as for the new gw - well said jadegarden. the changes are distressing, let's hope they are not deadly!
