An unusual aloe

A rather unusual aloe, the black leaf end is normal as the leaf dries out. This is a juvenile aloe plicatilis. Very symmetrical, slow growth.

This is one of my favorite Aloes. I got mine 3 or 4 years ago and it has now developed a nice trunk, which seems to have a little "pokey" out the side which may be either a root or an offshoot. I've heard they branch as they get older, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Yes, I love my Fan Aloe too! Mine was already rather large (with a hefty trunk) when I got it from a friend.
