New addition is a succulent I aquired from my grans. :)

So far I haven't actually spent any money atall on cacti, I've either scrounged them off my parents or 'aquired' them from relations! :D I will probably spend some money soon as I've started to become more and more attracted to the looks of lithops. :)

Lithops are very easy from seed. Here's L. lesliei luteoviridis at 9 months old:

Your last cactus looks like a Notocactus, maybe N. magnificus. The one before it might be a Copiapoa but don't bank on it.

Neat! For a minute there, before I realized it was a trick of the lighting, I was shocked at the weird columnar cactus with the vertical stripes! Keep at it. You are going to have a lot of fun with your plants.

I see the photos have picked up a strange colour cast from the lights(grow lights or ordinary energy saving flouroescents?)

Thanks for the replies. Cameraman, thanks for the ID. I can tell from your (much clearer) pic that it definitely is an Echinopsis. The lights were just standard enegery saving compact flourescents from Wilkos. Since taking those photos, I've had to rehome the flourescents as they were needed elsewhere and have added another succulent and a bana plant! :)

I see one new one. Looks like a grafting stock that was beheaded and has produced pups. Hard to see properly, is it three-sided? Probably a Hylocereus.

Thanks for the ID, it is three sided. My grandparents had it for along time and had to chop off from the top and the runners as it was growing too large. Then they gave it to me.
