    It's a treasure. To produce that flower the plant was well cared for.

    Just the tonic for a January day.

    Hey Pieter. I'm still around, I just get turned off due to having to log in everytime in order to post.

    Hi Alex. Thanks for updating so I know how this Turb turned out, since mine rotted!
    For some reason, I thought the blossom would have been totally red...
    You ordering some seeds, anytime soon?

    Hey Gringo;
    It would've been awesome if it had alonsoi-red flowers uh? Still a very impressive flower though! As you can see the other little guy is a little behind the big brother.

    Was the seed originally from you Pieter?

    Jordi;
    I would love to try to pollinate this little guy, but do you think the flower will last long enough? My greenhouse's been hitting >30c everyday! By the way, this is quite a pollen producer!

    Alex
    P.S. I was not successful with the Cory tri pollination..

    Alex,

    you are right, this flower won't last longer than two more days. Is there another flower bud coming?

    Hey Alex. Ok. I'll send off a quick email to ya.
    Its been so long since then, I can't even really recall if I originally got the seeds through Pieter, or if they were in fact from Mesa instead.
    But anyhow, yeah, it woulda been even better if they'd been solid red like an alonsoi!

    I'm with cameraman - it looks absolutely delicious! A little peppermint flower. Mmmm... could almost turn me into a cacti collector, too!

    Jordi;
    I don't see any more buds coming, but chances are it will have a second flower, no? ;-)

    Denise;
    We're just doing our best to try to convince you!!
