I've heard Aloe nuttiness is contagious - I caught the bug a long time ago! I especially like your striata hybrid. Striata is one I can't get to look good. My Aloe album is linked below...

Denise that is a very nice album...we will have to talk in the spring and do a trade, I seen a few that I don't have and I have a few that are small growing. A. striata is a summer grower, in the sping put it in a bigger pot, not to much water as it will develope black spots, kind of drought tolerant here in Arizona...in Nebraska it can take full sun, here it needs a little shade. HTH

My aloeness came by default, almost. People toss alot a. vera and I could grow it...When I go to plant sales, they are usually cheap and not many people are looking for the common stuff - they like the exotic families of plants. Also, I can get away with putting my ordinary varieties of aloe in Miracle Grow and just watch them explode with growth. As a suggestion, I believe the Institue of Aloe Studies has a fine selection for those wishing to find unordinary selection. I've only been aloeing for about 3 years.
