Some of my Mesembs are in active growth right now and I tried to capture it up close. They are such fascinating plants and I barely have a grasp on understanding their growth cycles, but I am enjoying them immensely.

Thanks for the nice compliments. These plants are small as it is, so it's nice to have a good digital camera that can capture them up close so I can see the tiny details! My eyes aren't what they used to be (I really need reading glasses) so macro photos help me see my plants better.

It's a Nikon CoolPix, but it's upstairs right now and I can't remember which model. I think it's the 5900 though. It's a great camera and I love it.

Very nice photos. I bought my Olympus 5050 specifically because of its great macro feature. It's really amazing what you see in your plants this way!
