Can anyone ID this Cacti/Succlnt?

i have searched and searched but fail to name this cacti. Or is it a succlent? Ive had it a year and a half now and it had more than quadupled in size and grown an arm .It was in a tiny 1 inch clay pot and the plant was only about 2 inches tall.
It has never bloomed. untill about the last 6 months it was pretty much flat stemed. but as u can see in the pics the base has plumped into a more rounded shape.
Anyone know what it is? will it bloom? ect...any info is a help.
