Yes, this is one of the four new ones from the greater Monterrey/ Linares area.
My plants were born about 20 months ago and grafted soon after germination on Pereskiopsis. In spring '05 I decapitated them and grafted the upper part of the heads on Harrisia.

Do you left the lower part grafted on Pereskiopsis to promote some pups development?
It is very similar to the one that I have like T.knuthianus, but T. septentrionalis has central spines

Yes, pup development is the goal of decapitating cacti. And sometimes it works out fine as this photo shows:

S&B: Yes, they live in limestone (all mountains around Monterrey Area are limestone). The last photo was from june-july (last year), but this weekend I return to the same area and look what I find.
