Thanks for the comments. Camerman, I think Hatioria sometimes gets lumped into Rhipsalis, so yes they're closely related. I had one of these for many years that got huge, then one day it just shed all it's little segments. I'm surprised this baby is blooming so soon!
Hi, To me this looks like a Rhipsalis mesembryantyhemoides, not a Hatiora, which has yellow flowers. Also, Rhipsalis and Hatiora are 2 distinct genera. Pieter
I agree with Pieter. I have both Hatiora bambusoides and Rhipalis mesembryantyhemoides and the plant on the photo looks exactly like my Rhipsalis (both flower and plant).
Yes, I think you're right. I looked at an old pic of the Hatioria and it is definitely different. I've corrected my label and will continue watching for a Hatioria, I guess!
