I likes 'em big!

My first attempt at posting a thumbnail is this pic of the largest aeonium I've managed to grow! The puppies are included for size comparison, and also because they're adorable.

It's A. canariensis, BTW...

OH... MY...WORD!!! I have never seen anything like it! Those plants make mine look like teeny pipsqueaks and I thought mine were big at 8" across. Sometimes when I see pictures like this I want to live where I can garden all year 'round outside.
Those succulent pups are quite handsome too! I have a large succulent pup too. He grows well in our climate and not at all aggressive. :)

Out of curiosity, I just measured the diameter of the biggest one (by the dog's shoulder):

Twenty-six inches across.
