That is a nice flower - could I see the rest of the plant? The flower makes me think it's a Cotyledon.

Yeah, could be. I'm not very up with succulent IDs.
Looking on the web with that clue, it is probably C orbiculata.
Thanks, will change the name.

Either that or a Bryophyllum. These tend to have flowers on tall stems unlike the rest of the Kalanchoe crowd(I think)

I would think a Cotyledon, as the flowers are blooming now, (in the summer for NZ). Most Kalanchoes and Bryophyllums are winter bloomers (K. citrina I believe is an exception).
