Unusual but neat looking!

There's a funny saying about a single Frailea. Get a bloom, no seed, don't get bloom, get seed. Mine are still small seedlings. Do have a Frailea angelesii that has been blooming for the past couple of years. Here is a pic of it without flowers.

Frailea ,isnt that quite a rare Genus? Certainly not something you come across often!
What genus/group are they more closely allied to?

These plants are continual seed producers. The problem is I'm in another country and there would be problems sending it across borders.
