Here is a picture of a pot of Mammillaria plumosa. Under the pot are three individual plants that COULD be M. plumosa. The one on the right looks very much like the ones in the upper pot, the one in the middle looks similar but with less spine cover, and the one on the left looks as though the spines are finer and more scarce. Are they all M. plumosa?
