This is what's left of a gigantic, multi-armed Pachypodium lamerei that was removed from one yard and transplanted two years ago - it didn't take kindly to the relocation. When removing plants, not only is it easier for the mover to relocate smaller plants, it's also easier for smaller plants to take to their new surroundings.
