New Aloe, anyone know the species?

I recieved this yesterday from a fellow of the BCSS, and havent a clue what species it is.

Though there are some spines along the leaf edges(mostly near the apexes) its skin is mostly lacking in spines and is dull grey green, with a matt texture.

Either way it looks to be a big one later in life!
