That's a lovely planting. The contrast in color and form between the Echeveria and the Gasterias makes for a very interesting vignette.

Thanks, Karen. The rest of that little area is not quite so pretty, but I am about to re-do it, while making another one like it on the opposite side of the path. It does take a long time for gasterias to get nice and big. I got the one in the picture as a swap at the local C&S Society, when it was already at least half the size it is now, but all my others are still small. I was new to gasterias when I started this gasteria bed, and now I find that there are some that will always be small, so back they go, into their pots. (Should have done the research before.)
