| Any idea what type of cactus this is?
It blooms with ridiculously large lemon-yellow flowers with a slight scent of a dandelion ... they never open completely and on the photos its about as much as it will open. The flowers have been alive for 3 days so far.

| My guess is some sort of notocactus/parodia. I can say without doubt that it is a beautiful plant, and so are your photos. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. |

| Yes it is a notocactus. Looks like mammulosus. There is a peach flowered form too. Very pretty. Toni-Marie |

| I meant ridiculously large - not ugly :) ... when open, the flowers eclipse the body. |
