| Hi-
I've read lots about these plants getting frost damage, but all of my Agave attenuata developed large pale, thin patches on lower/exposed leaves last Saturday, when we had the first very hot day of the year (it was about 90 and very sunny at my house). These plants should be *fine* in that weather, right? Can you help me identify what caused the damage from this picture? Thanks in advance- -T |

| Looks like sun burn. They can usually take full sun near the coast, but inland should be protected from hot afternoon exposure. |

| Thanks for the help. After lots more research, I think you're right. It is, in fact sun burn. They look even more terrible now. :( What a shame. -T |
